The Rectangle Shape

As an Rectangle Shape, your shoulders, bust and hips are the same width. While most rectangle shapes tend to have an athletic build, they do lack a defined waist.
What is SO fun about rectangle shapes is that we get to play with PUFFS and PLEATS and RUFFLES. We get to ADD volume to parts of your wardrobe that we can't with other body shapes. Hi, this is Katelyn and I'm jealous because I love that stuff.
Top 3 Things For Rectangle Shapes To Remember
1) Give Yourself A Waist - ALWAYS
You want to always give yourself a waist with every article of clothing you are wearing - tops, pants, jackets and more! The "wrap" style and belts are your best friend.
2) Play With Volume
You have a huge advantage because you can add volume to all parts of your body with outfits. Think puff sleeves, pleated pants and bootcut bottoms.
3) Bring It In
Avoid clothing that is TOO loose or TOO fitted. It's best to wear flowing clothing that you can bring "in" with a belt or with details that bring the garment in at the waist.
